So delightful. I felt it, in my tummy and in the smile brought to my face. You flickered a memory alight.
Thanks, Tom. Fun memories I hope.
Holy moly. Your words entered through my eyes and find their mark deep within my brain.R
My pleasure, Rick. There are old thrills in us that reward revisiting.
I good reach back. I thought about it twice, and remember my father saying, as a rather innocuous carnival ride ended, "I must get off, now!"
Most kind. I find your father's words quite moving.
"Paling row" ... lovely. As a child, I seldom went on anything more exciting than a merry-go-round, but it still felt like whee!
It's sound, lights, calliope music that combine in "Whee!" and a thrilled child.
Carnival rides remind me of my childhood.
They are a part of us that is timeless.
Do we still have them now? I don't see much.
