I've tried twice to leave a comment so hope it works this time. Hummingbirds are so beautiful and I'd dearly love to see one first hand. I am pretty sure there are none in Australia. The world is indeed a big place but small when you compare it with the universe and beyond.
I too have had trouble commenting at two blogs lately. Glad your 3rd try came through. Have heard of sunbirds in Australia that take nectar but cannot fly backwards like hummingbirds.
There is always a thrill when I see a Hummingbird. I always feel so blessed when one pays a visit to my flowers. The ones I see when I visit my daughter in Santa Cruz, CA are larger than the ones and in more abundance than in the east. That is another reason I love the west coast.
What a lovely verse and sweet photo. Geo, thank you so much for your comment on a recent blog post of mine in regards to the popup windows. That is exactly what has been happening with me!
So tiny, so fast! The hearts beat beyond my imagination.
ReplyDeleteAmazing beautiful creatures!
DeleteA sweet little verse .

Have a great weekend, Geo.
I am heading to the mountains in the morning, see you soon ....
Thanks, and best of luck on the bike ride.
