Over leaves of Heaven, this Galaxy rises, Opens her arms And draws our Moon, Earth, This light and Spark of birth, Around a star-- This ark, on Which we are. We Are.
Nowadays, when one mentions Galaxy, people immediately think of Samsung's latest smartphone. Technology rather kills poetry, romance, beauty. Luckily there are guys like you that don't give up,and keep reminding us of the great elements of the universe and their beauty.
Dear, kind Duta. I believe you've nailed it. I suspect physics is at least as close to poetry as technology, but it's hard to keep that in mind while surrounded by competitive advertising. Thanks for reminding and encouraging me.
That is beautiful, Geo.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and the lovely Norma.
Thanks, dear Arleen. We wish you a merry Christmas too.
DeleteAn ark, indeed.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and Norma and all your family a peaceful and joyous season, Geo. Another trip around the star . . . it's gone rather fast, hasn't it?
Indeed it has, dear Jenny --another circuit of the sun made more pleasant by your company.
DeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and Ms. Norma.
Thanks, Rick. Best to Jilda and you in this and all seasons.
