Infant Towhee

Infant towhee, like
Crystal, rebroadcasts
Light from our star--
Is no less alive
Than we are-- has
A story to tell, as do
We,  and it sounds
Like a little bell.

    1. Jenny, I'm always astonished at how quickly birds grow up. The little one in the photo was out today learning what to do with its beak. I'll try adding a picture under the poem.

    2. I love waking up to birds singing in the morning. Beats waking up to an alarm clock.

    1. Thanks Sandra. It's amazing how fast they grow. Norma and I are not the only empty-nesters on the property now.
