Time Interior, Exterior

Two years before Woodstock
I checked the library clock
In a room that contained itself,
A hearth of afternoon glows
And over those, a mantle shelf
Where you had placed a rose.

  2. Dear Jon, Thanks. Photo was taken early this year. We got married 52 years ago and we're still on our feet. Although I often use a cane.

    1. Thanks, Julia. I have been a gardener more than 1/2 century but never found a more lovely blossom than that day in a library.

    1. Thanks, dear Michelle. Pic was taken at a gathering recently. Norma joined me where I stabilized myself against a palm tree. She's the pretty one on the left.

    1. Dear Prof: I got discharged from several hospitals recently. Suffered series of falls, head injuries, then strokes. Still emerging from amnesia and sub-dural hematomas. Relearning computer and truly happy to find your comment. I intend to get back to writing soon.
