Last Train Inland
(San Pablo Bay from train)
Last train inland drew
Us late from the shore.
We could stay, do more
Or wait until dawn ahead
Of summer heat, move on.
Yet, we delayed all day
Leaving, found other things
To do --my love of
Moonlit evenings is
Part of loving you.
Lovely poem!

ReplyDeleteI love to watch the waves dance in the moonlight's glow. I will soon be enjoying that sight.
My favorite planets have moons and water. You will definitely enjoy that sight.
DeleteHow romantic being on the water at night with the one you love, with the moon lighting the way.
